Wayzata East Middle School is seeking a full-time, long-term reserve Spanish teacher for students in grades 6,7,8.  Timeline is approximately March 6,2016 through June 10, 2016.  The hired candidate will get extensive experience teaching a performance-based world language curriculum and implement integrated performance assessments (IPAs) on a regular basis to assess student performance - both of which are considered best practices in world language teaching.  Furthermore, the candidate will be able to implement a comprehensive list of technology tools, as Wayzata is a 1:1 iPad district and the district implements a multitude of instructional technology thought its MyWay intiative.  The candidate will have access to thorough, organized lesson plans as well as be able to collaborate with the Spanish-teaching colleague at East Middle School.


This position could be a full-time position or there is a possibility to make this position a part-time afternoon position if needed by the hired candidate.
