Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and experienced German language educator with a passion for teaching children ages 4-16 on Saturday mornings throughout the 2024/2025 school year! The emphasis of the GAI Samstagsschule program is the natural acquisition of language in an interactive and fun environment. The classes follow a framework that incorporates singing, crafts, games, and physical motion, along with didactic lessons at an age-appropriate level.

At Samstagsschule, we strive to create an inclusive environment and welcome students from all backgrounds. Our goal is not only to teach the German language, but also to spark our youth’s interest and curiosity in Germanic cultures and connect children to a broader world through an intercultural lens.

The Blake School seeks a creative and dynamic full-time Upper School Spanish teacher for a one-semester sabbatical coverage from January 2022 through June 2022 . This is a temporary position.

Strong candidates will demonstrate native or near-native fluency with outstanding teaching ability and extensive experience with students in advanced-level Spanish. This position entails teaching three sections of high school Spanish 5.
