This is an Extension Workshop based on the Conference Workshop at Central States Conference held last April in Minneapolis. It is designed to bring the Conference and its new and evolving ideas to a greater number of teachers.
This workshop is focused on moving students from performance to proficiency and will include material based on ACTFL research on designing integrated proficiency based assessments using authentic sources, grading with a rubric, and incorporating them into an established curriculum, along with the ACTFL Can-Do Statements. You will leave with a plan for you and your district. In addition information on using LinguaFolio web based portfolio assessment will be presented in a hands-on format.
Bring your laptop or other device to the workshop.
Presented by Ursula Lenz of Minnesota Department of Education and Lisa Perez, MCTLC Exhibits Chair and Regional Representatives Co-Chair.
