Position Title: Samstagsschule German Language Instructor (on-site)

Reports to: Director of Language Education

Wage: starting at $50 per instructional hour DOE

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and experienced German language educator with a passion for teaching children ages 4-16 on Saturday mornings throughout the 2024/2025 school year! The emphasis of the GAI Samstagsschule program is the natural acquisition of language in an interactive and fun environment. The classes follow a framework that incorporates singing, crafts, games, and physical motion, along with didactic lessons at an age-appropriate level.

Our goal is not only to teach the German language, but also to spark our youth’s interest and curiosity in Germanic cultures and connect children to a broader world through an intercultural lens.
